French Ambassador to China visits ASIPP

On July 10th, Mr. Bertrand LORTHOLARY, the French Ambassador to China, led a delegation from the French Embassy in China and the Consulate General in Shanghai to visit ASIPP. The Deputy Director of the Plasma Institute, Hu Jiansheng, and the Director of the National Cooperation Office of the Institute, Dong Shaohua, and other people warmly welcomed the guests.

The delegation conducted a detailed inspection of the All-Superconducting Tokamak Experimental Device EAST, and listened carefully to reports on the progress and achievements in the field of fusion. They also learn about the latest research progress and major achievements in magnetic confinement nuclear fusion technology in ASIPP.
