ASIPP Researchers Introduced CFETR at SOFT

Six researchers from ASIPP attended and presented the latest developments on fusion technology at the 29th Symposium on Fusion Technology (SOFT) conference, held in Prague, Czech Republic, from 5th to 9th September. 

Prof. Jiangang Li was invited to give an invited plenary talk on “Progresses and Activities on the Chinese Fusion Engineering Test Reactor”, supplemented by other oral presentations from ASIPP on remote handling, lithium wall and heating and current driving system of CFETR given respectively by Damao Yao, Qingxi Yang and Defeng Kong. 

SOFT is the leading conference in the field of fusion technology. It regularly attracts more than 800 scientists, engineers, industry representatives and exhibitors from all over the world and focuses on the latest developments on running and planned fusion experiments. (Defeng Kong reports)
