Dr. Yuhe Feng Introduces W7-X in ASIPP

Dr Yuhe Feng, a senior researcher on the boundary stellarator plasma physics and numerical simulation at Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics, made a lecture, "Introduction to W7-X with emphasis on plasma exhaust concept" in ASIPP on 4^th May. 

His report coveres the principle and the structure of magnetic island divertor of W7-X, the simulation of EMC3 program, the configuration of stellarator and the situation of discharge and the experimental ability of W7-X. 

The plasma discharge and exhaust in stellarator W7-X is enlightening for ASIPP young researchers, especially students of tokamak fusion research. (JIN Zhao reports)
