UCLA friend visits ASIPP

Dr. Alice Yau Ying, Deputy Director and Research Engineer at Fusion Nuclear Science and Technology Group at the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, UCLA, visited ASIPP earlier this month. This visit was designed to exchange ideas on blanket design, especially for Tritium analysis, Pebble bed module as well as Thermal-hydraulics design and analysis for water-cooled blanket. 

Dr. Ying gave three lectures altogether, including a public report titled as “Virtual Plasma Chamber Integrated Multi-Physics Simulation”, which was open to all ASIPP members. (WANG Guohe reports)
