Start from Kids

EAST welcomed its youngest visitors on April 24 afternoon in its eight-year history – a group of 40 kids from the kindergarten of CAS Hefei institutes of Physical Sciences had a close contact with the “big tank”. 

Dr Gao Ge, deputy head of Power Supply Division, a mom of one kindergarten kid, told the story of this man-made sun. The knowledge is, for sure, way way beyond their little heads for now, but maybe a science seed sneaks into their hearts, maybe one of them will become a future fusion scientist.
