With 2:0 stright sets, ASIPP women volleyball team beat their strong rival from Anhui Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, CAS, the defending champiom in the finals on May 28th, winning the 2013 "Spring of Science Island" volleyball competition. Altogether 11 teams from institutes and laboratories of Hefei Institutes of Physical Sciences joined the competition. ASIPP men's team made a fourth, worthy of appauses.
