FFHR Group From NIFS Visits ASIPP

The New Year comes, so do our friends in National Institute for Fusion Science (NIFS). Professor Akio SAGARA ,together with his four colleagues of FFHR (fusion-fission hybrid reactor ) group, came to attend a bilateral cooperation workshop in ASIPP. Professor Yuntao Song, on behalf of our CFETR group, gave a warm welcome to them.

To begin with, Prof Song gave a general introduction to Tokamak Design Division. After his presentation, with regard to the specific design and engineering research about CFETR, both parties conducted a series of discussion. Bilateral members shared their successful experience and also gave outlook for the friendly cooperation in the near future.

ASIPP & NIFS has maintained a long-term friendly cooperative relationship. This visit has promoted bilateral understanding and communication in demo reactor. Our future cooperation is believed to better developed in the future. (YU Qiong reports)
