CN-SG Nanomaterials and Environmental Chemistry Workshop was Held

Under the support of the National Natural Science Foundation, the China-Singapore Nanomaterials and Environmental Chemistry Workshop was held in ASIPP from January 3rd to 6th.

Scientific researchers on this area at home and abroad gathered together to discuss the current research progress of nanomaterials and environmental chemistry materials.

Prof. FU Peng, deputy director of ASIPP made an opening remark and brief introduction on ASIPP research, especially on EAST project. Prof Fu welcomed suggestion and ideas from experts on the applications of special materials in fusion facilities, expressed his wish to promote the fusion engineering together.

Singapore representatives, Prof. Zhang Hua introduced the background and explained the next step of this workshop. Professor Lou Xiongwen of Nanyang Technological University gave the summary speech.

The two-day workshop also covered the newest technology and research on related areas. The participants visited the EAST device afterwards. (Wang Ying reports)
