The 8th Meeting of the China-Japan-Korea ITER Technical Coordination Workshop was held in Hefei, China on January 11-12, 2024. Nearly 40 government representatives and experts from relevant units such as the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, the Ministry of Science and ICT of Korea, the Quantum Science and Technology Research Institute of Japan, the Korea Fusion Energy Research Institute, and the Southwestern Institute of Physics of China attended the meeting. As the host, ASIPP warmly welcomed the guests.
The China-Japan-Korea ITER Technical Coordination Working Group (CJK) aims to strengthen technical cooperation on ITER among Asian countries, especially China, Japan, and Korea. It was jointly advocated and established by the three countries in 2014, and meetings of the technical coordination working group are held in rotation by the three parties.
