What if other person is unconscious and not breathing? What if someone is bleeding and the ambulance is not coming soon? What if electric shock? And Cerebral Vascular Accident? And heard stem? Fire? Nuclear radiation?
All these are answered in “Emergency and First Aid” training course, taught by Dr Zhang Qun from Hefei 120 Ambulance Center to ASIPP staff. As the first aid could be an issue of “life or death”, the audience is all ears at the class, listening, asking questions and taking notes.
Under the professionals’ supervision and instruction, the trainees practiced CPR and different methods of homeostasis.
More than a hundred lectures or talks are given annually at ASIPP, however, this kind of emergency and safety training is the first time in the past few years. More are expecting in future. (Shaohua reports)
