Three Parties of ITER PF Convertor PA Put Heads Together

ITER CN DA project managers, industry suppliers and ASIPP researchers met on Jan. 18, to clarify the detailed requirements on the project and promote cooperation and exchanges between buyers and suppliers.

The meeting, chaired by Dr. Chen Junling, director of ASIPP ITER Project Office, began with a summary presented by Prof. Fu Peng on the main role of ASIPP in this program and on the progress achieved by Power Supply group. Later, representatives from ASIPP introduced to the suppliers their specific requirements one by one, and the industry shared their experiences in production and management.

This three-party meeting marked the shift of the program from design phase to equipment manufacturing phase. The components will be sent to ASIPP in June for integration. (Wang Guohe reports)
