EAST Results Presented at Joint ITPA Topical Group Meeting

ASIPP researchers gave five oral talks about recent results on EAST tokamak at the 18th Joint ITPA Topical Group Meeting, held Oct. 15 – 18 in San Diego, USA after the IAEA Fusion Energy Conference.

These five presentations are about pedestal turbulence study, pedestal evolution and ELMy experiment and BOUT++ simulation, understanding of the L-H transition, W divertor study, and LH coupling and current drive experiment in three ITPA topical categories, i.e., Integrated Operation Scenarios (ISO), Pedestal & Edge Physics (PEP) and Scrape-off Layer & Divertor (DSOL).

265 participants from Europe, USA, Japan, South Korea, Russia, India and China attended the joint meeting of six ITPA topical groups. More than ten ASIPP researchers joined the meeting. (Yang Ying reports)
