To celebrate the journal’s 50th anniversary, Radiochimica Acta, an international prestigious journal in the field of nuclear science and technology, launched a special issue – Golden Jubilee Issue to mark the occasion. According to the overview of the Issue, about 5100 ariticles have been published from some 7000 contributing authors since 1962. TheGolden Jubilee Issue lists its publications of the past fifty years with more than 50 citations; two articles from Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences have found their way there.

These two publications are “Influence of soil humic acid and fulvic acid on sorption of thorium(IV) on MX-80 bentonite” by D. Xu, X. K. Wang, et al, (RCA 94, 429-434, 2006) and “Effect of pH and fulvic acid on sorption and complexation of cobalt onto bare and FA bound MX-80 bentonite” by D. Xu, D.D. Shao, et al ( RCA 94, 97-102,2006), ranking 46th and 48th respectively. These are only two papers from Chinese researchers that are selected in “Top 50 citations” list of the journal.(Wang Ying reports)

About Radiochimica Acta

The journal Radiochemica Acta was founded in 1962, and it publishes Original Papers and Review Articles encompassing aspects of nuclear science and technology. Radiochemica Acta included four radiochemical areas in technology aspect: basic nuclear research in chemistry of nuclear reactions including heavy ion reactions, radiochemically determined nuclear data for medical applications, radiation analysis methods, and nuclear-related articles. It also included the important articles of nanotechnology in nuclearenergychemical field.
