Dr. Kaname Ikeda Director-General of ITER Organization Visited ASIPP

Dr. Kaname Ikeda, Director-General of ITER Organization, visited ASIPP on September 10th. He was warmly welcomed by Prof. Li Jiangang and Prof. Wu Songtao.

　  Firstly, Prof. Wu gave him a detailed presentation about ASIPP and the EAST new progress. Also Prof. Wu emphasized that based on the technologies developed by ASIPP in the past ten years, ASIPP surely do important contributions to ITER. After Dr. Kaname Ikeda took a visit of main laboratories, he expressed his appreciation to ASIPP achievements, especially the EAST construction and its preliminary experiments.

　  During this visit, Dr. Kaname Ikeda gave a talk titled as °Status of The ITER Project±, attracted many students and young scientists and engineers.(¨Wang Yuan Reports)
