NBI Team is Funded for Oversea Training

Based on the cooperation between Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics (BINP, Russian Academy of Science) and ASIPP, 4 researchers from Neutral Beam Injection Division will visit BINP under the financial support of State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, the P.R. of China. This is the second time for NBI group to land the fund for oversea training.

During this visit, two institutes will work jointly on the development of long pulse ion source operating in steady state, and will exchange results observed during the experiment recently.

The cooperation between ASIPP and BINP was initiated in 2010 and it is focused on the development of steady state neutral beams based on positive Ions for fusion research. (Liu Ling Reports)
