ASIPP Conducted ITER MMD Training

ASIPP held a ITER MMD（Magnet Manufacturing Database）training course from 14th to 17th February.Mr. Seo Kazutaka, MMD designer and the responsible person, was invited to give the training lessons.

　  Mr. Kazutaka first introduced the files and record types of ITER MMD system as well as the structure of the system. He focuses on the use of the ITER MMD, including file upload and approval. He also elaborated problems that need attention and guide all the participants to use the system on-site.

　  ITER MMD has unique advantage and potential applications in quality control and project management. ASIPP has long emphasized training the talents in this area. This training will boost the works related to ITER procurement package at ASIPP.

　   Besides ASIPP staffs, Dr. Niu Erwu  from ITER DA, Prof. Hou Binlin and Prof. Wang Shujin from Southwestern Institute of Physics also attended this training course. （Ma Cancan Reports）
