Solar Cell Laboratory: New Jumping-off Point

On New Year’s Day, the first academic committee of Key Laboratory of Novel Thin Film Solar Cells, CAS (Key Lab) met for the second time at ASIPP. The meeting was presided by the committee chairman, Prof. Zhao Yuwen.

   Lab director Prof. Dai Songyuan, reviewed the working progress, research achievements, talent training and team construction in detail. The R&D progress of different research directions were introduced to the academic committee by Prof. Fang Xiaodong, Prof. Wang Xiangke, Prof. Wang Mingtai and Dr. Hu Linhua, respectively.

   The Key lab has undertaken 41 S&T Projects,  including major-scientific-issue-orientated project of National Basic Research Program (973 program) of China, the National High Technology Research and Development Program (863 Program) of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Key Technologies R & D Program of Anhui Province et al. The lab has published 60 SCI papers and is granted two authorized invention patents. Meanwhile it has conducted frequent academic exchanges and established a close working relationship with Switzerland, the United Kingdom, United States, Japan, South Korea and other countries.

   The committee applauded the achievement made by the lab in 2011, and at the same time provided advice on lab researches and management in order to boost the lab academic level and credit.  (KONG Fantai Reports)
