HT-7 Spring Experiment Campaign Launched

HT-7 2011 spring experiment campaign was launched recently after modification of its in-vessel components with full metal PFCs, and the first plasma was obtained on April 21 afternoon. The main missions of this HT-7 experiment are to validate the lithium coating as a routine wall conditioning technique and achieve plasma discharges with heating power over 2MW, which try to obtain high-performance operation mode in the limiter configuration.
