MOST Vice Minister Chen Xiaoya Visited ASIPP

Vice minister of Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) Chen Xiaoya visited ASIPP on April 1 to inspect EAST and related fusion research programs.

Madam Chen Xiaoya listened carefully to the overview report by Prof Li Jiangang, about self-designed, self-made EAST and its latest experiment achievement. Madam Chen fully affirmed ASIPP’s endeavors in developing fusion energy, reiterated that MOST will continue to give strong support to fusion research, and hoped ASIPP will make greater contributions for fusion energy utilization for the benefit of the whole humankind via EAST experience, international cooperation and ITER project.
