Pilot Key Technologies of DSC Project Passed Mid-term Evaluation

R&D of Pilot Key Technologies for Dye-sensitized Solar Cell Project, a National High-tech R&D Program (also referred as “863 Program”), has passed the mid-term evaluation. Mr. Zhimin Chen, vice director of High-Tech Research and Development Centre of Ministry of Science and Technology headed a panel, and chaired the evaluation meeting from June 24 to 26 in Tongling city, Anhui, to investigate the progress of the project.

At the meeting, Prof. Jian Weng and Prof. Songyuan Dai, as the project manager, gave a report about the R&D progress, problems & solutions, and future plan of the project. The experts inspected the construction status of the pilot DSC production line and were satisfied with the progress of the work，meanwhile they gave lots of constructive advices on the future work.

Based on its research achievements, Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Science (ASIPP) formed a joined venture -- Tongling Zhongke Juxin Solar Technology Co. Ltd, with Tongling S&T Venture Capital Corp. Ltd and SkyOcean Holding CO., Ltd. to transform the scientific achievements into actual productivity.  (Fantai Kong Reports)
