Delegation From South Korea National Fusion Research Center Visited ASIPP

A delegation of National Fusion Research Center (NFRC) from South Korea, headed by Director Shin Jae-In, visited ASIPP on August 25th. They are warmly welcomed by Prof. Li Jiangang and Prof. Wu Songtao.

　  Prof. Li gave a general introduction of ASIPP and EAST, then shown the guests EAST Tokamak.

　  ASIPP signed the cooperation agreement with KBSI(Korea Basic Scientific Institute, the predecessor of NFRC) on 1993. Director Shin expressed his hope to strengthen the cooperation with ASIPP. Both ASIPP and NFRC wish to sign a new cooperation agreement soon.

　  During this visit, both sides shared common ideas about the cooperation for the future. (Wang Yuan reports)
